This page explains how content on FreeSeedFinder is researched, written, checked and corrected, so you can judge how far to trust it.

Who writes and reviews

Shaheer Bin Ramzan researches, writes, builds and reviews every page and tool on FreeSeedFinder.

How we research

We base guides on the Minecraft Wiki, on official Mojang release notes and on other documented sources, and we list them at the end of each guide. We prefer a primary source, such as release notes or the documentation of an open-source library, over a blog that repeats it. When sources disagree, we follow the best-documented one and say so on the page.

Use of AI

We use an AI assistant, Claude by Anthropic, to help with research and quality checks. The author reviews every claim before publishing, and we do not publish facts or numbers that we cannot trace to a source or a test.

How we test tools

Each tool is tested before release. Text seeds are checked against Java's String hashCode. Slime chunk results use the formula documented for Java Edition and are checked against known Java random number outputs and a second implementation. Stronghold and portal calculations are checked against worked examples and known values. We say on each page what we have and have not been able to verify.

Dates and versions

Every page shows when it was last reviewed. Tools and guides state the edition and version they apply to, because world generation and game rules change between versions.

Corrections

If you find an error, tell us. We check it, fix confirmed errors quickly and update the review date on the page.

Advertising and independence

When ads are shown, they are served by Google AdSense and are clearly separate from content. Advertisers do not influence what we write, and we do not publish paid placements or sponsored reviews.
